North Region Teaching Schools

The North Region Teaching Schools are outstanding schools which have been nationally recognised for their capacity to support and help other schools to improve outcomes. TSC Representatives are serving school leaders of designated Teaching Schools, elected by Teaching Schools in their region or co-opted to provide national specialist advice.

Regional Activity

Teaching Schools bring additional capacity to support the school leader to execute their improvement strategy more effectively in their school or trust. In addition to the support of School-led Initial Teacher Training, Professional and leadership development and school to school support, Teaching Schools are involved in a range of school-led development activity.

National Leaders Of Governance

Coaching Pledge

A pledge to increase the number of women in leadership positions by raising the profile and encouraging region-wide engagement with the National Coaching Pledge. Contact: Anna Harrison aharrison@st-wilfids.org

Women In Leading Education
