SEND
The LYW TSA works in a partnership with four schools to help improve education for those with SEND. Our partner TSA’s are: The Shanidar TSA in Bradford, Tor View School in Blackburn, The Merseyside SEN Teaching School Alliance in Liverpool, and The Everyone Learning TSA in Greater Manchester. Workload Reduction Toolkit for Teachers
The LWY TSC is currently assisting with DfE research into the reduction of Workload for teachers. Lead by Caroline Roberts, this project is supported by an advisory group of 8 TSAs which are as follows; Birth to 19 TSA, Bradford; Yorkshire Inclusive TSA, Leeds; Noctua TSA, Leeds; Teamworks TSA, Calderdale and Oldham; Everyone Learning TSA, GM; Aspire TSA, Wakefield; Northern Lights TSA, Bradford; Fylde Coast TSA, Blackpool. 2018/2019 School Improvement Offer
Led by Amanda Bennet and Angela Holdsworth, the LWY TSC is working alongside a wide range of partners including various types of Learning Hub and the DfE to support school improvment. This project is handled by our Sub-Regional Teams.

Recruitment and retention
The four strategic partnerships of the LWY TSC work together across the region working closely with LAs, DfE, RSCs, Diocesan Directors, Ofsted and CPLD providers to help improve teacher recruitment and retention. We also provide termly updates and support to the strategic body North West and Lancashire, West Yorkshire Partnership board. Lead organisations – STEM International recruitment, Yorkshire Inclusive TSA, Accelerate coaching programme, Wade Deacon TSA.


Supporting Newly Designated TSAs, NLEs and NLGs

National Leaders of Governance
