Primary school teachers from Halesowen participated in a 5-day programme that developed their understanding of, ‘The Big Ideas of Maths and Barriers to Learning’.
Barriers to Learning include: Understanding, Literacy, Learning to Learn, Real Life Experiences, Confidence, Teaching and Learning & SEN.
Often, there will be a combination of barriers that have a negative impact of progress. The programme explores how these barriers can be overcome.
